How We Travel

The main salon is located in the center of Aldebaran's cabin. It is like the living room and dining room, all in one. There is a big table in the middle and seating on both sides. When the salon isn't being used for meals, the benches can be used as beds. Around this area, there is a lot of storage space for things like spare parts and books.

Under the benches are Aldebaran's big metal water tanks. We store the freshwater that we use to drink and clean things in these tanks.

The table in the main salon looks pretty small, but it folds out so we can all eat dinner together. Eating on Aldebaran is just like eating at the dinner table at home. However, we have to be careful not to let our food slip off the plates when Aldebaran moves with the waves.
