How We Travel

Before this trip, we sold our house and our cars. Then we had to decide how we would travel when we visited foreign lands! We have traveled in many ways. We have become experts on some of them.

During our travels, we have traveled so many different ways. We have taken planes and trains. We have ridden animals and bikes. We have walked and taken buses, subways, big and little boats and ferries. We have ridden on a tractor! We have been in small cars, a big motor home, funiculars, taxis and many horse-drawn carriages! We have taken overnight trains that have cabins, buses that show movies, sailboats, ferries with fancy cabins and pools, a punt in England, and even a bus that drove onto a ferry.

Mostly, we travel by a small motor home. This way, we take our home with us. We are kind of like a turtle! We really enjoy our cozy little home and the camping lifestyle.
