How far did we travel this week? We didn't travel this week, but we will be traveling a lot next week.
How far have we traveled on our journey so far? Over 1,500 miles!
How did we get around this week? We walked around the town of Calama, Chile.
What was the most interesting place we visited this week? This week we spent lots of time with government officials talking about our travel documents. We even had to go to the governor's office! In the end, it all worked out.
This Week's Travel News: We spent this week in the town of Calama, getting ready to head into Bolivia. Chris, Daniel and Mike will cross the border into Bolivia at the town of Ollague. They will be traveling up to a section of land called the Alto Plano. It is going to be really cold there because it's so high in elevation!
I will not be riding my bike next week with them. I will be taking a bus up through the country of Peru to the capital city of Lima. I have to go home to the U.S. for a wedding!
