How We Travel

We will be riding our bicycles through almost every country of South America. Have you ever ridden a bicycle? These will be special bicycles built for carrying lots of gear and traveling long distances. Some people call them touring bicycles, but we call them our homes.

Our bikes will have everything we need. Just like your home in the United States. We will carry our kitchen on them, including food, camp stove, and pots.

We will carry our bedrooms on our bikes, including clothes, tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and tarp. Do you know what a tarp is? If you don't, you could ask your teacher.

We will carry our living room on our bikes, including books, harmonica, computer, cameras, and Frisbee. Sorry, no video games here! Are you allowed to play Frisbee in your living room?

We will carry our bathroom, too. We will bring toilet paper and a shovel for going outside!
