Our first stop on the tour was the Valley of the Kings. Most of the Pharoahs of Egypt are buried here. Also buried in the valley are princes and important nobles.

We went into three different tombs. We went into the tombs of Ramses II, Ramses III, and Seti. The most famous tomb in the valley of the Kings is the tomb of Tutankhamun. It is famous because it was the only tomb still full of treasure. They found all sorts of cool stuff inside the tomb. Now all that treasure is in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Mitch went to the museum last week. The only thing left in his tomb is Tutankhamun's mummy.

Mitch and I had a great time exploring all the tombs, and learning about ancient Egypt. We didn't discover any new tombs, or any treasure. If I ever come back again, I'm going to try harder.
