Everyday Life in Spain with Ainoa

The second floor is for their kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms.

What is your family like?:

Ainoa lives with three people: her mom, dad and brother. Her dad' name is Miguel Ángel, and Ainoa describes him as divertido (fun). When he was younger, Miguel Ángel wrote poesía (poetry) and he plays la guitarra (the guitar). Her mom, Lucía, is "cariñosa, fuerte, y una deportista" (warm/loving, strong and someone who is sporty). Lucía is super active and likes going to the gym and doing yoga.

I've met Ainoa's brother, David, once before when he came to visit her in Madrid. Ainoa introduced me, and I reached my hand out to shake his, but he leaned in to kiss me on both cheeks - the normal Spanish greeting! It was a little awkward, but everyone laughed it off. David is payaso (a clown), loves Harry Potter, and makes canciones de trap (trap songs)!

How do you get around?:

In Madrid, Ainoa uses the metro just like I do. When she's at home in Ibi, she drives her own car. It's a green Seat Ibiza, which is "un coche super típico aquí en España" (a super typical car here in Spain). She got the car when she was younger, and named it "youth."

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

For school and prácticas (work that's associated with school, like an internship or practicum), Ainoa wears clothes that are un poco formal (a little formal), such as a camisa (blouse).
