On our first trip to Marrakech, my friend Anna and I discovered Amal's Restaurant
The atmosphere was lovely with teal and orange colors
The lunch was amazing; we had chicken tagine, one of Morocco's most famous dishes
Amal's also offered cooking classes, taught by Moroccan women; my friends Anna and Oumama joined me in making my favorite Moroccan dish that day
 The Amal Restaurant and Training Center is very special because it is also helping Moroccan women learn business and language skills, in addition to giving them employment
The Amal Center is on a beautiful piece of land with plants and animals; the place is one with nature!
Clay pots decorated the entrance; pottery making is an important trade in Morocco
We made pastilla which has chicken, nuts and sugar; sweet and salty! Do you know of any foods that are both sweet and salty?
