Ahlan (pronounced: ah-lan)! This is how you say "Hello!" in Arabic. Congratulations, you are learning another language already! How cool is that! You should definitely greet your friends and family with a cheerful "Ahlan!" today.

My name is Isaac James and (under normal circumstances) I live in Memphis, Tennessee. However, I was not born in the United States. I was born in Kenya, which is a country in East Africa. I moved to the United States in 2001 when I was only four years old!

I have a big family, with two brothers, two sisters and lots of cousins. If you have a big family then you know how loud and nosy things can get. I am not the oldest in my family, but I am not the youngest either. Out of the five children, I am the fourth child. Currently, I don't have any pets. But when I was younger I had crabs, turtles and fish as pets.

I am a student, just like you! I attend Rollins College in Orlando, Florida. Want to know a fun fact about my school? Rollins College is the oldest university in Florida, plus it is very close to Disney World. Would you be able to focus on your studies if you lived close to Disney World?

Right now, I am studying at a college in Morocco. I chose to study in Morocco because I wanted to travel, learn about different people, taste different foods and make new friends.
