One of the best things about studying abroad is getting to learn something new constantly. Obviously, I'm here studying so I learn a lot in the classroom, but even the classes are different here. Oxford operates under what is called the "tutorial system." This means that instead of being in a classroom with other students and one teacher, it's just me and the teacher by ourselves! I really love getting to have that one on one time with a teacher but with it only being the two of us, I always have to have my homework done! Being here really pushes me to work hard, but I've learned so much so it's completely worth it!

There are other major differences too, like how cars drive on the left side of the road. But really, it's the small things that impact me in my daily life. For example, in the U.K. there are no stores like Walmart where you can buy food, home goods, clothes or make up all in one stop. Instead, they have separate stores for each thing! This makes it extremely hard to run errands because you're never able to just go to one store for everything you need. People also don't just drive on the other side of the road, they also walk on the left side of the sidewalk! Every time I go somewhere, I am always either bumping into people or feeling like I'm on the wrong side of the road when I'm actually right!
