Student Interns

Assist a New York City educator as they take their students on a global, online journey via our Global Learning Leaders program! Volunteering with RTW as a Global Learning Leader (GLL) provides a substantive, engaging opportunity to integrate global competence programming into the curriculum of under-served public elementary, middle school, and high school classrooms.

As a Global Learning Leader you will:

  • Be trained by RTW to serve as a global educator in a public school
  • Work one or two days a week for 12 weeks
  • Build your leadership, communication and planning skills by helping to deliver a high-quality enrichment program to K-12 students
  • Receive a $350-$500 honorarium for your volunteer service (depending on number of classrooms)

Apply online today to be a classroom intern! Applications for Global Learning Leaders are accepted on a rolling basis.
