The huan jing (environment) in China is in poor condition, especially in large cities such as Hong Kong. For example, it is an all to common sight to see smog hovering among skyscrapers. Also, although trash cans are widely available on public streets and people do use them, where the trash goes afterwards is the real issue. Water, air, and farmland has been polluted by trash dump sites. Not only that, but trash is also imported from overseas for a fee.
