When I was a student at Iowa, I played trumpet in the Hawkeye Marching Band. Luckily, there is a lot of music on Jeju Island and I can go to concerts every other week. I have been showing my students the many different kinds of music that the U.S. has to offer, but it's hard since there are so many good artists! At my middle school, I help with the student rock band during lunch. It's been great to share my musical side with my students.
