Our News

We all sat outside at a long wooden table. The owner brought us bottles of sparkling water and grape juice. Then he brought several platters with cheese, thinly sliced meat and vegetables. We ate this with fresh bread. It was so nice to sit together and share food with my friends.

What music did I listen to this week?:

This week I listened to music by the composer Mozart. Mozart is one of the most famous classical music composers. He wrote music over 200 years ago. Did you know that Mozart is from Austria? I can even go visit his old apartment here in Vienna!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I had the most fun on my biking trip to Lake Neusiedl. First I got to ride on a comfy train from Vienna to Lake Neusiedl. Then I got to rent a bike and ride in through fields of grass and along the lake. It was so beauitful! I love bike riding, and that day I got to ride for four hours.

What did I read this week?:

Because I am a beginner in German I bought a children's book to read. This book has simple sentences and easy words. It is called Der kleine Drache Kokonuss und Die Hexe Rubinia, which means "Coconut the Little Dragon and Ruinia the Witch." It is a very funny and exciting book.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I already told you that I got to do lots of biking this week. I also went to some boxing classes and went running through the city. It is very easy to stay active in Vienna.

Other news from this week:
