Traveler Bio

Hola! My name is Alex and I am from a little town called Canandaigua in New York. I grew up there and went to the same school from kindergarten to 12th grade. Because I lived my whole life in one place, the idea of leaving for college was scary to me. Despite that fear, I enrolled at the State University of New York at Fredonia, and so far I have had an amazing experience. I study international studies and Spanish. In international studies I learn about how countries get along with each other by trading, making deals and creating laws. I think it is really important to understand how our world works. I also love to learn new languages and talk to different people through Spanish. These two majors are what led me to travel to Salamanca, Spain, which is where I am right now! Similarly to when I left for college, I was really nervous to live in a new place. However, I conquered my fear and I really love learning Spanish and Spanish culture. I cannot wait to share all of my adventures with you and help you learn about this fantastic country!
