The Greek education system has many differences from the American one and in my opinion, American universities should provide students with food and a roof over their heads as many students have to work jobs on top of their studies so they can afford the necessities.
Overall, my first trip to Greece taught me about my cultural heritage and how different cultures view education. The people of Greece are very generous to visitors and I felt comfortable during my visit. I learned about how they value hospitality and treating people with kindness. They also have a different education system where it is standardized for everyone while providing them with an equal chance for an education through free food and housing for lower income students. I also learned about my own cultural heritage by finding religious icons that my church inherited through the ages.
