What languages are spoken here? Chicagoans speak English! Now I can finally understand what everybody is saying around me.
What type of money is used here? People in Chicago use the dollar.
How much does a bottle of water cost? I saw a bottle of water at the store for $1.50. That's a lot more expensive than some of the places we visited this year. Egypt had especially cheap water.
What was the best meal this week? One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago is a Thai restaurant called Jim Noodle. I made a special trip there just so I could have some of their fantastic crab rangoons. It was worth it!
What music did we listen to this week? I've been trying to catch up on all the new music I missed while sailing on Aldebaran. One of my favorite new albums is by a band called Islands. |
